Before, During, After Skincare Treatment
Before Your Appointment
Your Skin Profile
In preparation for your appointment, you will want to complete your Skin Profile questionnaire as well as upload images, if you so choose. Your Skin Profile will be kept on file, continually updated, allowing for all information to be current and relevant.
Day of Your Appointment
What to expect the day of your treatment
On the day of your treatment, please keep these three (3) things in mind:
If possible, it is best to come in with no makeup. The more time spent removing makeup means the less time spent treating your skin.
If you plan on exercising the day of, do it before your appointment and not after.
It is best if you can plan on not applying any makeup once your treatment is completed, as well as not washing your face after your treatment. You will get the best results if you allow the applied product to remain on your skin overnight.
***Note: Your hair will get ‘dirty’. I don’t preserve the hair when I’m working on your skin. When treating the face thoroughly, the skin will be treated up to and sometimes in the hairline.
After Treatment & Days Post Treatment
What To Expect After Your Treatment And How To Make The Most Out of Your Time.
To get the most out of your treatment, its best to not wash your face once you leave until the following morning. Make sure to put on a fresh pillowcase that evening. You want all manipulation to settle and for product to penetrate and perform. Depending on your skin type and what service you’ve come in for, there’s always potential for redness, flaking as well as some localized inflammation. These reactions can potentially last anywhere from 1-3 days on average. Plan accordingly if you have an event coming up.
