Checklist for perfect Skin.
✔️ Texture.
When addressing texture, we are looking to achieve a smooth, soft, clean look and feel. In order to arrive at this place, our skin cells must be ‘turned over’ quicker than naturally capable of doing on their own. This is achieved through chemical and/or physical exfoliation. A physical scrub used once or twice a week, combined with the use of an alpha hydroxy acid serum or Retin A serum will turn over your dead cells rapidly, resulting in a clean, taught, dewy look.
✔️ Color.
Uniform pigment. Treating and managing hyperpigmentation and red (vascular) discoloration can be accomplished in a number of different ways. The use of vitamin c, arbutin, hydroquinone and/or licorice root aid in correcting pigment.
✔️ pH Balance.
Application of a neutral, well-suited combination of serums, moisturizers and face oils will provide the right amount of hydration and nutrients. This will prevent your skin from becoming too acidic, thus, inflamed.
✔️ Protection.
Spf. If you are one of many who don’t like to wear sunscreen, consider mixing a light to moderate weight sunscreen with a preferred moisturizer to achieve your ideal look, feel and slip.
